Circue Sri Lanka Cultural & Dance Event – An Unforgettable Fusion of East & West

An event featuring a fusion of traditional music and dance from Sri Lanka with what is known as European new circus, Circue Sri Lanka offered audiences a unique chance to enjoy the best of the East and the West. The performances which commenced on December 1st 2016 and ran till the end of January were held at the Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre. Circue Sri Lanka featured over 15 talented performers who took to the stage incorporating aerial acrobatics, drumming, dancing and rousing fire effects. The performance itself was a joint collaboration between theatre artistes from the Czech Republic and Sri Lanka’s very own Rivega Dance Studio.
