Colombo voted the ‘must-photograph’ travel destination of 2019

According to the Sun Newspaper, UK, Colombo Sri Lanka was ranked first for being the “Most photograph travel destination of 2019”. Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, is quite an interesting mix with its Colombo city hotel culture on one side and old architectural buildings on another.

In the age of social media, being placed first in this category is quite the honour. The results were deduced after research showed that 1.3 million social media accounts preferred Colombo as the location most travellers wanted to take a picture of. Undoubtedly, the numerous hotels such as Mandarina Colombo and other hot spots around Colombo are among the favourites to photograph.
