Event to be Held in Vietnam

An international conference dealing with climate change in the Asia-Pacific region covering everything from socioeconomic impacts to environmental aspects will be held next month in Quy Nhon, Vietnam. It is scheduled to run from 4th to 10th October 2020 at the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science Education (ICISE); the venue is within easy reach of Anantara Quy Nhon Villas and similarly well-placed luxury resorts in Vietnam.

This conference will focus on regional climate systems and its hazards (such as flooding, droughts, typhoons, coastal erosion, etc.) as well as their impact on the Asia-Pacific region and the local population. A key part of the event will be the bringing together of specialists from various disciplines connected with the study of the impacts of climate change. There will be five main sessions dealing with socio-ecological systems and biodiversity, the climate system, adaptation, mitigation & resilience, case studies from the Asia-Pacific region and societal impacts.
