Connect@Changi Opens in Singapore – First Batch of Travellers Arrive

The first of its kind in the world, Connect@Changi which allows for non-quarantine short-stay business travel in Singapore opened in February 2021, with the first batch of travellers arriving soon after in March. A unique concept, this pilot project near the airport gives corporate travellers a chance to safely conduct business in the country and meet their counterparts in Singapore within a secure bio-bubble.

Apart from accommodation, Connect@Changi offers state-of-the-art business facilities including special rooms with air-tight glass panels for meetings and the option of hosting large-scale video conferences. There are strict health and hygiene protocols in place here, while similar measures can be found at other establishments too be it at a hotel or one-bedroom serviced apartment Singapore has to offer. Properties such as Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Orchard, Singapore are certified “SG Clean” ensuring safe stays for business or leisure in the city.
