Featured on the Her website in March 2021, is the story of a Canadian couple who made the Maldives their temporary home to live and work during the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple from Vancouver, Neal Van Beers who is a restaurateur and Charmaine Sanchez, his partner, decided to get away to a sunny tropical island when winter arrived.
Their solution was the unlimited package at Anantara Veli Maldives Resort; they spent €25,000, on this special offer that gives two guests a chance to stay as often as they want in one of the luxury overwater bungalows up to 23rd December 2021. As an added incentive, the package includes transportation, daily breakfast and spa and dining discounts too. The resort which is known for its honeymoon villas in Maldives is termed as an adults-only island for those 18 years and above and follows strict health protocols ensuring safe stays.
