Giving intrepid travellers a chance to test their limits and raise money for a worthy cause,Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara has launched a special challenge that involves climbing an imposing 180 metre high sand dune. Standing out amongst luxury hotels Abu Dhabi has to offer due to its stunning location in the famed Liwa Desert, this resort has initiated the ‘Conquer The Dune’ competition to support the children’s charity Operation Smile UAE as well.
Those taking up the challenge will have to make their ascent up this impressive sand dune with the time being recorded once they reach the summit. Guests and participants can track timings of the leading contenders online with the winners, both in the male and female category, being announced in June 2015. The prize on offer is a stay for 3 nights at either Anantara Phuket Villas or at Per Aquum Niyama in Thailand and Maldives respectively.
