COVID-19 Restrictions for Tourists Eased in Singapore – No Tests for Vaccinated Travellers

Singapore has updated its entry protocols by relaxing certain restrictions, making it easier for tourists to visit the Lion City; as of 26th April, this year, fully vaccinated travelers from all nations and regions no longer must submit to any pre-departure COVID-19 testing. Apart from this, there is no on-arrival testing or quarantine for such tourists heading to Singapore; suites at SG Clean certified hotels such as Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road, Singapore, also offer safe stays with enhanced sanitation and hygiene measures in place.

There are some other changes to the entry protocols expected as well that will come into effect from 1st July 2022; long-term pass holders who are between 13 and 17 years old will need to be fully vaccinated when travelling to Singapore if they are to be exempt from pre-departure testing and quarantine on arrival. On the other hand, non-fully vaccinated children aged twelve and below will not have to submit to pre-departure testing. Such moves are encouraging more tourists to plan holidays to Singapore again as the local tourism industry gets back on track.
