Cruise Tourism on the rise in Oman – A major achievement

The head of the Ships and Cruise Department stated that the ministry was doing everything in its power to promote cruise ships tourism. The Ministry of Tourism has participated in the Annual Miami Exhibition of the United Sates of America that was held in March earlier in the year. In terms of economic recovery, it’s assumed that cruise ships contribute to enhancing the added value of the tourism sector.

Some of the best hotels in Oman, the likes of, Alila Jabal Akhdar, bring in the influx of tourists necessary to boost the tourism industry of Oman. It’s estimated that the number of cruise ships visiting Oman in 2019 – 2020 would reach 360.
