The Cocobay Recreational Complex in Da Nang was host to the Spring Festival on February 12th to March 11th, 2018. Tet, Lunar New Year traditions and customs were highlighted heavily. The fete also featured family-oriented customs from central, north and south Vietnam. Hailed as the biggest event of the year in Da Nang, the festival included various games, folk songs, skits and puppet shows.
Calligraphy classes, along with an interesting spring market, were held as well. Since no festival is complete without food, there were plenty of stalls and kiosks selling various new year delicacies such as sticky rice cakes. Visitors also happened to stay at many a Hoi An river resort including the likes of Anantara Hoi An Resort, during this time, which boded well for the tourism sector of Da Nang.
