Taking a huge step forward in the world of travel and tourism, the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has now appointed Public Relations Agencies in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, China, Korea and India.
Starting from the 1st of July 2016, these Agencies will act as a liaison between the MMPRC in executing the island nation’s PR plan in the markets that have been targeted for now. The purpose behind allocating these PR Agencies is to improve the image of this tourist hotspot in the eyes of those looking for a luxury holiday. Maldives hopes to increase the number of incoming international travelers to the island to grow its tourism industry.
As it is, there are several high-end resorts with over water villas and more, such as the Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, providing attractive holiday accommodation options.
