Development of Anantara’s New Resort in Zanzibar Announced – Opening in 2020

Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas recently made an announcement with regard to their latest property to be launched in the year 2020.

The luxury hospitality chain has made known that the latest addition to the chain of Anantara hotels, Resorts and Spas around the world will indeed be the Anantara Zanzibar Resort.

The resort will be open as part of the Zanzibar Amber Resort community, spanning over 1,000 hectares of prime real estate along the Indian Ocean coastline in north-eastern Zanzibar.

Infrastructure work on the Anantara Zanzibar Resort has already begun according to the master plans. The resort will have 100 guest rooms plus 50 one and two bedroom pool villas. In terms of leisure facilities available, the property will feature a spa and wellness centre, kids’ and teens’ clubs, a gym and three restaurants and bars.
