Fortitude Valley in Queensland was echoing in hysterical laughs as crowds gathered to listen to a line-up of stand-up comedy on the 10th of March 2022. Fans from Brisbane hotel apartments and residences were able to sign up for 2 hours of giggles and laughter for just 5 AUD, as both professional and amateur comedians of Australia took the stage at the ‘Don’t Choke Comedy Open Mic at Greaser’.
The night’s enchantment came to life just 1.7 kilometres away from Oaks Brisbane on Charlotte Suites, which allowed the city to nurture new talent and to create a platform for budding young comedians. While comedy was the highlight of the evening, the crowd was able to engage in a karaoke session to savour the comical moments and interact, the perfect cherry on top of the cake.
