Dubai is on the lookout for new markets to surpass 2021 overseas visitor numbers – Increasing success in tourism

In 2021, Dubai saw a total of 7.28 million arrivals in the emirate, but this year Dubai expects to see much more in terms of arrivals. With the reduction of Covid-19 barriers, Dubai has seen an increase in the interest in business investments and tourists as well. The chief executive of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing states that they will be tapping into new markets like Latin America and Eastern Europe.

The commercial centre of the UAE recorded about 4 million visitors in the first quarter of the year which is 214% higher compared to last year’s result during the same time period as per government stats.
