Dubai Sees Significant Rise in Arrivals in 2022 – Positive Trend Continues in 2023

As highlighted on the Global Media Insight website on 14th March 2023, Dubai recorded an impressive 14.36 million international visitors last year which was around a 97% increase when compared with 2021. The highest number of visitors were from the Western Europe and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) regions which each accounted for 21% of travellers; that said, India was the highest source market followed by Oman and Saudi Arabia respectively.

This rise in visitors has continued this year as well with January 2023 seeing 1.47 million travellers arriving in Dubai, with India being the top source market for that month. Such a positive increase in tourists is offering a key boost for the emirate as it looks to double the size of its economy by 2033 as per the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. Travellers have much to look forward to here be it for business or leisure while staying at beach hotels Dubai has to offer on the iconic Palm Jumeirah; these include properties like NH Collection Dubai The Palm which provide safe accommodation within easy reach of the best of this cosmopolitan emirate.
