As one of the MICE sector’s biggest partners, the events that take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) are a significant contributor to the UAE economy and provide the platform for industries associated with MICE to generate high returns as well. The 63 massive events the DWTC hosted in 2022 saw 1.2mn visitors attending them, with over 40% of them being internationals.
As declared by the Director General of DWTC Authority, Dubai is a hub for business and talent from around the globe, and the DWTC plays a central role in providing access to untapped markets for innovative ideas and products. The DWTC events have been a huge success in both the short-term and long-term and visitors have greatly enjoyed them, as they’ve been easy to access from their stay at a luxury hotel in Dubai such as the Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai. These events will continue to be a success throughout the years to come if they continue to adapt and meet the wants of their clientele.
