Dubai World Trade Centre Sees $3.5bn Business Tourism Boost – A Sign of Incredible Output

The Dubai World Trade Centre saw 1.2mn visitors enter its halls, which saw an economic output of $3.5bn from the events it hosted in 2022. This was in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s goals of making Dubai one of the premier hotspots for business and leisure, and the business tourism sector excelled in its role in further boosting the economy in 2022.

Dubai has continued to be a powerhouse in the Meetings Incentives Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) industry, especially post-pandemic, and the events held at the World Centre have continued to provide seismic contributions when guaranteeing high returns. The influx of visitors at the Trade Centre has been attributed to the quality of the events hosted, as well as the ease of access they have to them from their stays at a luxury hotel in Dubai such as the Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai.
