EDEX Expo Kandy – Broadening Horizons

Billed as the largest education exhibition and job fair in Sri Lanka, EDEX Expo was held in both Colombo and the island’s hill capital, Kandy which hosted this event on the 30th and 31st of January, 2015. Drawing in crowds of more than 18,000 people, EDEX Expo in Kandy was hosted at the Kandy City Centre (KCC) which is a well known venue in the heart of the city. Travellers wishing to find accommodation close to this venue can stay at nearby Kandy hotels in Sri Lanka such as Hotel Hilltop which belongs to Aitken Spence Hotels. Since it attracted a large number of stalls, over 350 in number, EDEX Expo had to be held at the fifth floor of the KCC making it the first event of its kind to be held there. Apart from local academic institutions, there was also a number of foreign universities present as well, offering everything from onsite admission to scholarships.
