Ex-Tarom ATR-42s Join interCaribbean for Better Fleet Operations – Fly the Caribbean way with Intercaribbean!

Embraer EMB 120 aircraft will be replaced by 7 regional turboprops, Ex-Tarom ATR-42s. interCaribbean Airways has extended its operations with 7 more of these replacing the 48-seater aircraft previously utilised by the airlines. The additional airspace will help grow their network and increase the number of inter-Caribbean flights. Meanwhile, some aircraft are undergoing maintenance and will join the fleer a few months after. The chairman and founder of interCaribbean Airways Lydon Gardiner was proud of the airline’s recent developments in terms of capacity and connectivity.

The carrier has expanded well in 2023 and has seen an 83% increase in the first quarter of the year, and hopes to continue its expansion and increase its connectivity for high-demand destinations in the Caribbean.
