Expansion of the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village

Boosting a Key Local Attraction

As reported in August by VietnamPlus, part of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), plans are underway to expand the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village in Da Nang. The expansion which is set to take place between 2019 and 2022 is expected to cost close to 1.9 million USD. The site is located in the Hoa Hai area within easy reach of hotels in Hoi An including properties the likes of Anantara Hoi An Resort.

This expansion will not only provide a key tourist attraction in Da Nang but will also help to preserve a traditional craft that has been passed on from generation to generation for over 200 years. The current Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village can be found at the base of the Marble Mountains where visitors can see some of the amazing carvings on display. The site’s expansion is expected to provide more facilities for sculptors along with encouraging more tourists to visit.
