With airlines increasing their capacity and new cruise lines being introduced in the region, Caribbean tourism has been gathering momentum within a short period. The number of tourist arrivals into the region witnessed a sharp 10% increase since 2019 with Virgin Atlantic reporting a surge in bookings on prevailing routes. Among the most sought-after services from the airways, flights operating from Heathrow to Barbados as well as Intercarribean Flights operating from Nassau in the Bahamas have come into the spotlight.
Interestingly, bookings for 2023 are already taking a positive turn with many travel enthusiasts looking forward to soaking up the ample sunshine, reclining by the white sandy beaches and enjoying the modern amenities of luxurious resorts in the Caribbean. It is also predicted that destinations like Barbados, Grenada, Bahamas, Antigua, Dominican Republic, and Saint Lucia will be at the top of the bucket lists of many tourists in the months to come with a majority of such tourists resorting to a trusted travel companion like Intercarribean airways.
