This month saw the successful conclusion of ExpoCulinaire 2022 in Abu Dhabi with the participation of regional and international chefs (including pastry chefs), bakers, cooks and those involved in the HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, catering) sector. It was held as part of the Worldchefs Congress & Expo from 30th May to 2nd June 2022 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre near properties like Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel. For those in the food service community, attending this event was one of the best things to do; Abu Dhabi ExpoCulinaire 2022 featured everything from food, drink, equipment and ingredients to product demonstrations and training and education areas.
A concurrent event held at this time was the Emirates Salon Culinaire which saw members of the World Association of Chefs’ Societies the world over taking part in various cooking competitions; highlighting innovation and skill, the categories included aspects such as decorated buffet platters, ice carvings, Emirati cuisine, cake decoration, pastry creations, chocolate carving and more.
