The FINA World Swimming Championship (25m) is all set to take place next month in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi. It will feature some of the world’s best swimmers and will be held from 16th to 21st December 2021 at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island. This year marks the 15th edition of the event which was previously held in the UAE in 2010 with Dubai being the host.
Apart from the FINA World Swimming Championship, an Aquatics Festival will take place parallelly featuring three other FINA disciplines namely open water, high diving and diving; events include the FINA Diving Team Exhibition, FINA / CNSG Marathon Swim World Series 2021 and FINA High Diving Qualifier. Apart from sightseeing, Abu Dhabi also offers visitors a chance to catch such global sporting events as well as enjoy safe accommodation at properties like Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara.
