This month, FlyDubai launched its second route to the Maldives providing daily non-stop flights from the UAE to this much-loved holiday destination. With this new route, travellers can enjoy a convenient connection between Dubai International Airport and the Gan International Airport on the island of Gan which is the southernmost island in the nation’s atolls; this will provide easier access and cut down on travel time for those heading to the southern atolls.
Of course, apart from this route, FlyDubai also flies to the Velana International Airport near Male, the country’s capital, which it has been doing since 2013. The additional route sees the company now offering 28 flights a week catering to a growing demand by those in the UAE looking to enjoy holidays here at all inclusive hotels. Maldives continues to be a popular choice for tourists around the world with properties like Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives providing a private island escape for families and couples alike.
