Four Groups of Foreigners Expected to be Allowed Entry into Thailand

A Cautious Approach

As the lingering threat of the COVID-19 Pandemic slowly begins to dissipate, countries are looking to reopen their borders and once again welcome in travellers and tourists. Thailand is taking a slow and cautious approach to this matter – the country is expecting to let in four groups of foreigners at present. These include businessmen and investors – around 700 of which are expected to fly in. Then there’s skilled labourers and exporters who need to visit facilities located in the country for inspection. Over 30,000 medical and wellness tourists are also expected to arrive. Finally, foreigners married to Thais are also allowed entry into the country.

Several hotels and resorts are ready to entertain these visitors. For example, if you’re a travelling businessman who’s looking for Khon Kaen meeting venues, you can go with the Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre.
