Galle Literary Festival 2017 – a Sri Lankan bookworms dream!

The Fairway Galle Literary Festival is Sri Lanka’s biggest literary event, and after a successful 2016 edition, the festival is all set to carry the momentum forward into the 2017 edition, with diverse programming, a host of international and local author engagement as well as gratis events. Set in the tranquil and historic surroundings of Galle, the festival is also peak season for many Hotels in Unawatuna like CoCo Bay Unawatuna, as thousands of both foreign and local visitors head south to Galle. Festival will cover 5 days and attendees can take part in author discussions, debates, tea and poetry readings, gourmet evenings, as well as a day of Sinhala programs, a first for the festival. The next Fairway Galle Literary Festival will take place between 11th to 15th of January, 2017.
