The annual Galle Literary Festival is back for another year of literary events, speakers and many more. The festival, as usual, will be hosted within the historically beautiful structure of the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The festival is set to take place from the 24th to the 28th of January 2018. In Sri Lanka, private tours are easy to organise, especially with the assistance of a tour agency such as Black Kite Travel.
Those visiting the island for the first time, whether you’re participating in the event or just an attendee. Tickets to this much awaited festival sells out fast, so hurry – block your calendars and book your tickets fast! If you intend on staying for the whole event, make sure to also book your accommodation; there are a number of options to choose from within the Galle Fort.
