Go First Resumes Flights to the Maldives – Daily Flights from India Now on Offer

A boost for global tourism, Go First, a private air carrier in India, has resumed international flights to the Maldives. In May this year, entry to the Maldives from South Asian nations like India was suspended due to the COVID-19 situation in the region, but this ban was lifted on 15th July 2021. This paved the way for Indian tourists who have become a leading source market to this holiday destination to visit once more and stay at an island resort like Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas; from experiencing the comforts of a private pool villa, Maldives has to offer, to enjoying water sports and excursions, there continues to be much for travellers to look forward to.

Initially, Go First restarted its flights in July with two flights per week, though the frequency was increased to four in August; from September 2021, daily flights resumed and it will be hoped that this will mark increased arrivals to the Maldives as the holiday season approaches.
