Golfing for women at 2015 HSBC Women’s Champions – Golfing in the Lion City

An annual golfing event that attracts some of the world’s best golfers, the HSBC Women’s Champions took place from 5th to 8th March, 2015. The tournament was held at the Sentosa Golf Club and travellers planning to visit this award-winning course for future events can consider staying at Singapore luxury serviced apartments that are within easy reach of the club such as Ascott Raffles Place Singapore. In what was the 8th edition, the HSBC Women’s Champions 2015 was won by Park Inbee from South Korea who finished two shots ahead of Lydia Ko from New Zealand who is ranked number 1 in the world. Third place went to American Stacy Lewis who finished 2 shots behind Lydia Ko. Offering prize money worth US$ 1.4 million, this competition is amongst the premier tournaments on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour and this 72-hole, stroke play event attracted top name golfers from around the world.
