Positive news for the local tourism industry, Grenada is currently open to all international travellers who are planning on flying to the Caribbean. This was highlighted in an online article published last month on the Travel Agent Central website; it also brought to light that the U.S. Centre for Disease Control had listed the country as very low-risk when it came to COVID-19. Accessible via airlines the likes of interCaribbean Airways, Grenada is also part of a “travel bubble” with nearby islands such as St. Lucia, Barbados, Dominica and St. Vincent which will increase regional travel too.
Those travelling from abroad will find the country connected with various major international airlines including American Airlines and Air Canada. As further encouragement for travellers, Grenada along with its islands of Petite Martinique and Carriacou also received the “Safe Travels” stamp from the World Travel & Tourism Council.
