Growing Trends of Apartment Buyers in Sri Lanka – Independence that comes with luxury and convenience

With the decade long civil war neatly tucked away in the past and many Sri Lankan expats coming back to their motherland to settle down or retire, there has been a surge in the apartment market overall. All over the city of Colombo are apartment complexes with diverse variety in price, size, and layout. Luxury apartments in Colombo are particularly alluring to Sri Lankan expats and those elderly Sri Lankans with savings and financial independence. Several brands, including Cinnamon Life, cater to this need for apartment living and offer a range of choices.

When it comes to apartments in Sri Lanka, the layout is the most important aspect, as most Sri Lankans are used to living in large houses. So, apartment builders put a lot of time and effort into creating the right layout for the Sri Lankan market. The culture in Sri Lanka is such that young people live with their parents even after they tie the knot, but that culture is changing, and most young people, even single young adults, move out of their parents’ houses to live a life of their own and pursue their dreams and goals on their own terms. As things stand now, it’s safe to assume that apartment living is going to be the future of the Sri Lankan real estate market.
