For culture enthusiasts who wish to dive into the culture of Vietnam, your visit to the country should coincide with the Hue Festival that takes place once in 2 years. The festival is usually held in the month of April, May or June. The significance of the Hue Festival is to preserve the ancient rituals and culture that has been passed down from the Nguyen Dynasty.

This festival is massive and is held at 40 venues across the city. The festival celebrations feature Hue Poetry, Dialogue of Drums Percussion and Ao Dai fashion shows. If you like fun and games better, you may engage in a game of human chess, kite flying or boat racing. Also, witness the royal ceremonies such as the crowning of King Nguyen and more. Places to stay include beach resorts in Vietnam such as the well-known Anantara Quy Nhon Villas.
