A unique festival that showcases sustainable light art, i Light Singapore came to a successful close recently. This annual event which commenced on 28th January ran till 24th February 2019 and featured a range of art installations by both local and international artists. Easy to reach for those who stayed at a City Hall hotel in Singapore, these creations were found across the city; they included Halo at Esplanade Park within walking distance of Grand Park City Hall, The Time Vortex at the Helix Bridge and the Facey Thing at the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade.
This year, i Light Singapore was a special bicentennial edition to coincide with the nation’s bicentennial commemoration. Held under the theme of “Bridges of Time”, the festival also had special programmes and looked to encourage and promote sustainable lifestyles and habits.
