While the unveiling of the Mumbai- Delhi highway has everyone excited, the Road Ministry has proposed plans to construct a highway from Kolkata to Bangkok, via the India-Thailand road. In conversation with the media, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari revealed that construction of the India-Thailad-Myanmar trilateral highway is mostly complete, but an opening date is yet to be announced by the ministry.
The primary goal of the highway is to provide better trade relations between the nations, strengthening their financial ties, but it is also extremely convenient for travellers as it is a fast and economically efficient way to travel across the countries. It certainly is less of a hassle than booking a flight, and you can plan your stay at co-living Sukhumvit spaces such as lyf Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok to make it an even more convenient trip.
