interCaribbean Airways Travels to Ocho Rios, Jamaica

As the fear of COVID-19 has slowly begun to diminish, tourism is once again in full swing, and is benefitting all industries that work in conjunction with the tourism sector; this includes the airline industry, which has faced a surge in flights and passengers awaiting travel to their dream destinations. As a result, interCaribbean Airways has introduced flights to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. These interCaribbean flights take place between the Ian Fleming International Airport of Ocho Rios and Providenciales, as per the article published in the Caribbean Journal on the 17th of June 2022.

The flights are a part of a broader growth of the Ian Fleming Airport, which expects to welcome services from American Airlines for the first time. The flights to Ocho Rios, Jamaica operate once every week and are expected to be a step toward the country’s growth in tourism.
