InterContinental Bali Accredited the Top Market Saying “China Ready”

In a move that is envisaged to bring more customers from China, InterContinental Bali Resort has been certified “China Ready.” The accreditation at this luxury hotel in Bali will look to tap into the large Chinese outbound market that is seen as a big potential in terms of spending; this has been mirrored at InterContinental Bali Resort itself which has seen 8% or more contribution in the property’s revenue by Chinese guests. The special China Ready programme focuses on offering Chinese guests more personalised service. Among the initiatives at the resort which also has ‘Welcome Chinese’ Certification include Front Office staff who can converse in Mandarin, a mini-bat stocked with Chinese teas, in-room Chinese TV channel and a hotel guide in Mandarin which is part of a special welcome pack. A Chinese version website and booking process, Chinese etiquette being taught as cross cultural training for staff and special cuisine from China are among the other highlights that are expected to attract more Chinese guests.
