Interface Tourism: Launches Innovative Wellness Campaign for Sri Lanka

Interface Tourism, a leading tourism marketing agency, recently unveiled a groundbreaking campaign to promote Sri Lanka as a premier wellness destination in Asia, targeting the French and German markets. This initiative, supported by the European Union Delegation and the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, aims to leverage the burgeoning global interest in wellness tourism and position Sri Lanka as a key player in this lucrative market.

Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Chalaka Gajabahu, emphasizes the campaign’s potential to attract European tourists and benefit the local tourism industry. A two-month digital campaign utilizes six German social media influencers, sharing their authentic wellness experiences in Sri Lanka on Instagram and TikTok. This strategic approach targets key European markets and leverages the influence of social media to generate interest among potential tourists. Highlighting Sri Lanka’s unique offerings, from traditional Ayurveda to yoga retreats, the campaign aims to attract a diverse audience seeking physical and mental rejuvenation. This pioneering collaboration between Interface Tourism, the EU Delegation, and the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau is poised to significantly boost Sri Lanka’s tourism sector, with 4 star hotels in Nuwara Eliya the likes of Araliya Red being among the beneficiaries. By promoting targeted marketing and emphasizing sustainable and inclusive growth, this campaign paves the way for a brighter future for Sri Lanka’s wellness tourism industry.
