After a period of six months, international flights once again resumed to Oman on 1st October 2020. The decision to open the Muscat International Airport was made by the Supreme Committee on COVID-19; this was done on the provision that the scheduling of flights would take place according to a destination’s health data as well as the place of origin of the airline arriving into the country.
With the resumption of international flights to Oman, luxury resorts including the likes of Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort are once again offering tourists a chance to experience the very best of the country. As part of the reopening of the airport, volunteers were on hand to assist authorities in ensuring precautionary measures and protocols were being followed to deal with COVID-19.
