Malaysia is ready to host the IRONMAN again this year. Being the Jewel of Kedah, a Langkawi resort is booked with tourists on any given day, and with the event coming up, places like Berjaya Langkawi Resort and more, expect to be filled to the brim with athletes and families who are flying in to view the IRONMAN this year.
The race will take the athletes through the Malaysian hills, making it a challenging course that also shows the competitors the natural terrains and beauty of Malaysia. The swim begins on the Pantai Kok beach, followed by a bike ride that takes the athletes to the Datai hills and Kuah Town. The race ends with a 2 lap run close to the Langkawi International Airport, finally closing in at the beautiful Cenang Beach.
