Japan in favour of vaccine passports to restart international travel – the country considers opening to international travel

The issue of restarting overseas travel is still something that many countries are dealing with. Should airports open or remain closed? The unpredictable situation of the pandemic has definitely affected decision making when it comes to tourism and business travel.

Those who arrive in Japan in future will be required to have vaccinated passports and the process through the airport has been made as efficient and contactless as possible. Japan has also urged its workforce to take the vaccine by insisting that companies allowed paid leave for the purpose. With the possibility of overseas arrivals in Japan soon, Grand Park Otaru and many an Otaru hotel too are well prepared with the necessary measures ensuring safe stays for travellers.
