One of multiple Jetwing properties that emerged victorious in the recently held World Travel Awards (WTA), Jetwing Lagoon walked away with the prestigious distinction of being named Sri Lanka’s Leading Spa Resort 2015. This was in fact the third consecutive year that this Sri Lanka spa hotel has walked away with this award and highlights its continued commitment to excellence, especially in regards to offering a unique wellness getaway in Sri Lanka. The World Travel Awards which recognises those properties around the world in a wide range of categories, bestowed this honour yet again to Jetwing Lagoon which is located in the West Coast fishing village of Negombo, right by the lagoon. While it is the first resort to have been designed and built by the renowned Geoffrey Bawa, it also features a traditional Ayurveda spa where guests can experience a variety of holistic healing treatments including special one day wellness programmes.
