Art is what makes the world even more vibrant than it already is and if you are all about the splash of colour for the new year then you are in luck. Head over to the Queens Art Gallery which is just a 9-minute drive away from Oaks Woolloongabba to take a look at some amazing pieces of art by Jon Molvig. The event began on the 14th of September 2019 and continues daily till the 2nd of February.

The exhibition displays works by the well-known artist Jon Molvig who spent most of the prime years of his life in Brisbane. He had an expressionist view of the world and Brisbane was set the ideal atmosphere for him to bring it out. Although Molvig was quite a defiant and candid character, nonetheless he was quite a captivating teacher to his young students who were in awe at his wonderful art and dedication. If you happen to be at a Woolloongabba hotel close by, hop in for an arty experience.
