The Maldives is the top destinations to travel in 2020 by National Geographic

National Geographic announced their top 25 must-see travel destinations for the year 2020, and it comes as no surprise that the Maldives made it into the list. Boasting many a Maldives beach resort above standards the likes of Faarufushi Maldives, tourism plays a big role in the economy of the Maldives. The list includes places from all over the globe and also advocates for more sustainable tourism.

The list was decided after taking into account a number of factors such as diversity, value, affordability and community benefit. Travellers can pick a favourite among the four categories that the list has been divided into – culture, city life, nature or adventure.
