The Kenya Tourism Board (KYB) plans to host over 3000 participants in this year’s edition of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo. In doing so, they aim to achieve a 20% increase in the number of delegates participating in the event.
The Expo is set to take place from the 2nd to the 4th of October at the Uhuru Gardens National Monument and Museum in Nairobi, with various participants including tour operators, travel agents, hoteliers and travel trade visitors. The 13th edition of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo is part of ongoing plans to reach the target of 3 million visitors to Kenya by the end of the year.
Kenya’s tourism industry has seen a steady rise in the past few years. Tourism arrivals to the country surpassed 460,000 in 2023, continuing the growth trend that began in 2021. The industry’s success is attributed to the wide-held belief among tourists that Kenya offers good value for money. Travellers are drawn in by high-quality experiences like those provided by SkySafari who are the leaders in curating the best safaris in Kenya.
