According to research conducted by Euromonitor International, Kuala Lumpur is 10th overall in the world’s most visited cities. Kuala Lumpur has always been one of the most famous metropolitan landscapes, but this recent rise in tourist visits to the city can be attributed to the development of Bukit Bintang, a small district that is now a renowned shopping and entertainment centre matching the likes of Oxford Street in London, Shinjuku in Tokyo and Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong.

There’s many a hotel in Bukit Bintang to choose from as well, such as The Westin Kuala Lumpur. The success of Bukit Bintang can be said to be due to its abundance of goods, affordable prices, easy access via public transportation and the efficient layout that makes it very convenient for the many customers that frequent the district.
