An event that will not only give participants a chance to run for a cause, but have plenty of fun too, the Koh Samui Midnight Run 2016 is set to take place on 26th March, this year. As the name suggests, the race will indeed begin at midnight beginning and ending at the well known Reggae pub which is near Chaweng Lake. Those in search of a Samui beach resort within easy reach of this venue or points along the race route can consider such options as Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort. The main purpose of the Koh Samui Midnight Run is to raise funds for the School for Autistic Children as well as for The Green Project. The only night race on the island, the event is expected to attract between 1000 to 2000 runners who have the option of choosing a 5 km or 10 km (a loop of the 5 km route) long route. With such elements such as fancy dress also incorporated, it is bound to be a fun race that can be enjoyed by family and friends.
