For those who are looking for a bit of vibrance, culture and tantalising aromas, Kuching Festival is the place to be. Initially, the festival was a celebration to commemorate the occasion when Kuching was named a city. Now, the festival acts as a tourist puller as well. One can look forward to wonderful colourful performances, fireworks and great food.
The Kuching Festival will take place this year from the 29th of July to the 21st of August. Around 250 stalls are expected to be set up and an estimated 500,000 visitors are said to attend the event at Dewan Masyarakat MBKS at Jalan Padungan. Guests at beach resorts in Malaysia the likes of Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas are sure to visit this amazing celebration to enjoy some mouth-watering Mayalasian street food, people watch and simply experience the Kuching itself.
