The Lebanon Carnival is an annual event which draws in many locals who expect something different. The event takes place every year around this time when talented young artistes of the Lebanese community within Australia try and promote their culture within the country. The event will be held on 18th Sunday at Harbourside Amphitheatre from 11am to 5pm. The show will feature dancers, singers & musicians who will showcase Lebanon’s rich cultural history. Also on the list is ‘Dabke’, a Lebanese dance performed at special occasions like weddings and other joyous events. All visitors will also have an opportunity to witness Lebanese arts & crafts displayed at the many stalls. The event is open to all family & friends. The setting is of course quite the selection for Darling Harbour is a beautiful spot set by the side of the sea.
