Leicester City Celebrate Championship at Anantara Layan Phuket Resort, Thailand – A Well Deserved Break

The Leicester City Football Club fresh from being crowned 2015–16 Premier League champions, momentarily forgot competition and the pressure to score as they stepped into Anantara Layan Phuket Resort in May 2016. They were initially serenaded on the streets of Bangkok and later were cocooned in luxury, sand and warmth; the team inclusive of Captain Wes Morgan arrived at one of the leading Phuket luxury hotels in the island to frolic in the Andaman Sea and spend some quality time with team members. The sportsmen also enjoyed a scrumptious meal at the resort’s much-loved restaurant, Sala Layan. However the team could not stay away from their passion for too long, as they watched the FA cup final against Manchester United and Crystal Palace on an evening during their stay at the resort. As their retreat came to an end, the team felt rejuvenated to take on many more games in the seasons to come.
