Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who was a billionaire and the owner of Leicester City Football Club died on a helicopter crash on 27th of October 2018. The Players of his club after their first match since their owner’s death, travelled to Thailand to visit the funeral. The tragic accident happened when the helicopter came down crashing over the Car Park which is located outside the club’s King Power Stadium. The crash claimed the lives of all five people including the pilot of the helicopter. A minute of silence was also held before the game with Cardiff City to pay respect to all five people who lost their lives in the crash. It is also worth noting that many players of the team were very close with the team’s manager Mr Claude Pue and the owner Mr Srivaddhanaprabha. The funeral took place at the Debsirin Temple in Bangkok and it lasted for seven days, beginning on the 3rd of November. Many representatives from business establishments and resorts in Koh Phangan the likes of Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas also visited the funeral and shared they condolences for the demise of the billionaire and a great human being.
