Next month will see the launch of Lightscape, an immersive night-time experience that will be unveiled in Melbourne, Australia. Scheduled to run from 24th June to 7th August 2022, it will take place at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne within easy reach of properties like Oaks Melbourne on William Suites; for those based at such a centrally located serviced apartment, Melbourne sightseeing can be combined with a night-time visit to witness this spellbinding spectacle.
As part of Lightscape, tree canopies, foliage and various sections of the city’s Royal Botanic Gardens will feature a colourful array of vibrant lights and large colourful installations. The Winter Cathedral which will have over 100,000 small lights is among the highlights that visitors will come across on a mesmerising 1.8 km trail that incorporates sound elements too. Interestingly, Lightscape was first developed at UK’s Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, though this will be the first time it will be held in Australia.
